Grading Services

The crew starts by evaluating the area, checking for elevation changes, drainage needs, and soil stability. A grading plan is developed to ensure proper slope and water runoff. 

  Any debris, vegetation, or old materials are removed. Then, the ground is excavated to the required depth, based on the intended asphalt thickness and base layers.

The natural soil is compacted to create a stable foundation. If the soil is too soft or unstable, additional base materials (like gravel or crushed stone) may be added to improve strength.
 

The surface is finely adjusted to the correct slope and level using grading equipment like motor graders or skid steers. This ensures water will drain away from structures and not pool on the asphalt.
 

The entire area is compacted using heavy rollers to ensure a firm, smooth base that’s ready for paving.
